The National Media Market is an international showcase in the United States where people who select and purchase informational, non-theatrical video and electronic media can screen the newest and best programming from major producers and distributors.

The ALA Video Round Table is the largest media-based group in ALA, and the only organization within the Association which deals specifically with video formats.
The membership of the Round Table includes librarians, archivists and educators from a broad range of institutions and organizations, as well as video producers and distributors. VRT plays a strong advocacy role within ALA for video collections and services in libraries and maintains alliances with other national film and video organizations.
