Celia (Luz Valdenebro) is 44 years old, and she doesn't want to celebrate it, as doing so requires acknowledging she's reached that age without a partner or children. She has invited her friends to dinner at her house, but she has told them that it is not a birthday party. Instead, she says it's a Christmas dinner where she will offer them her famous eggnog for dessert, a recipe she learned when she lived in New York.
