On Easter Sunday, Plínio, a retired carpenter, waits for his family's visit, but they don't show up. Anselmo, the household gardener, offers him a lift home. Along the way, Plínio revisits his memories of the neighborhood where he was born and raised, but when he gets there, a surprise puts his memories in check.
